As part of the Didaktika project, the Museum designs educational spaces and organizes complementary activities for the exhibitions, both in the galleries and online, to contribute to the appreciation and understanding of the works on display.

This Did You Know That …? devoted to the exhibition Signs and Objects: Pop Art from the Guggenheim Collection, aims to draw our attention to the specific historical and social context of consumer culture of the 1960’s to which Pop artist in United States responded.

However, nowadays, the awareness of how our consumer habits impact our planet, is igniting a new trend to consume more thoughtfully according to the Rules of R: refusing, reducing, reusing, repurposing, and recycling. We invite you to discover some artists in the exhibition that have worked under some of these principles, as well as some key ideas of their artistic output.
