The Guggenheim Museum acquires the sculpture Ciudad muralla and presents it in Bilbao. With the collaboration of the Instituto Cervantes, exhibits Una urbe en tus manos in Amman, Jordan; Beirut, Lebanon; and Taipei. Participates in the exhibition La ciudad que nunca existió at the Centre de Cultura Contemporània de Barcelona and the Museo de Bellas Artes in Bilbao. The sculpture El parotet is installed in Valencia, Spain, and Palas fundición is installed in Ceuti, Spain.

Commissioned to create an altarpiece for Burgos Cathedral in Burgos, Spain. More than three hundred works from the period 1964-2005 are presented in an exhibition at the Institut Valencià d’Art Modern in Valencia, Spain. Navarro’s work is included in the exhibition ArchiSculpture: Dialogues between Architecture and Sculpture from the 18th Century to the Present Day at the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao.

The exhibition of the Institut Valencià d’Art Modern is shown at the Fundación Caixa Galicia in Ferrol, Spain. Takes part in Homage to Chillida at the GuggenheimMuseum Bilbao.
