External guides and groups of over 20 persons must make a booking.
This service offers individual visitors in-depth information about the exhibitions, specific works in the galleries, the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao architecture and project.

Free guided tours
The tour will go ahead as long as there are at least 8 people in the group up to a maximum of 20.
Sign up in person at the information desk half an hour before the tour is due to start.
Daily, at 12.30 pm (English)
Tuesday to Saturday 5 pm (Spanish)
Sundays 5 pm (Basque)

Exclusive guided tours
Guided tours are led by qualified guides.
Tours are 90 minutes long and include information on the architecture of the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao building and the works on display.
Available in different languages.
Tours must be booked at least two weeks in advance.
If visitors are interested in a particular focus, it is important to let the guide know before the tour begins or when making your booking.
20 people. You may hire up to 3 guides at the same time.

Tours given by qualified members of staff.
A singular tour taking you not only through the exhibitions, but also giving you an exclusive glimpse behind the scenes at the Museum, normally out of bounds for the public.
Duration: two hours
Available in several languages
This tour must be reserved at least two weeks beforehand.
Given time limitations, artistic explanations do not look at each exhibition in depth.
Each guide will take one group at a time, with a maximum of 20 people.
These visits are always available except for the exhibition installation period.

To ensure that your visit is enjoyable and well organized, groups of over 20 are requested to book their tickets at least one week in advance.

Please note no refunds will be issued if fewer people show up on the day of the visit.
You will be sent a letter of confirmation, which should be presented at the group admission desk a few minutes before your scheduled visit time.
Groups of 7 to 20 people who want to make their own guided tour with non-museum guides must make a reservation in advance.
These groups will be allotted a slot to tour the Museum for one hour. There is no charge for this service.
After they have booked their slot, the groups will be sent a letter of confirmation, which must be presented at the group admission desk 15 minutes before the allotted time.
The Guggenheim Museum Bilbao reserves the right to deny access to groups that have not made a reservation in advance.

Guided tours especially adapted to meet the specific needs of each group are available from Tuesday to Sunday. These tours must be booked in advance. Museum admission is not included (see group ticket prices).

Free guided tours for groups at risk of social exclusion (immigrants or people in rehabilitation) as part of the activities included in the program sponsored by BBK Connect with Art. Tours are specially designed based on the needs of each individual group. Advance booking is required. Please call 94 435 90 90.
FREE GUIDED TOURS FOR SENIORS
Free guided tours for Senior Centers (Clubs BBK) as part of the activities included in the program sponsored by BBK Connect with Art. Advance booking is required through the BBK central reservations service.
The Guggenheim Museum Bilbao also participates in Museoak Barrutik, a campaign organized through the Regional Council of Biscay’s Department of Social Action aimed at senior citizens associations. Advance booking is required. Please call 944 35 90 90, Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 14:00.
Groups of over 50 will be split into smaller groups to avoid crowding at the entrance.
