1993
Earns a degree in fine arts from the Universidad del País Vasco, specializing in audiovisual studies.
1999
Arregui's work is shown in the exhibition Trans Sexual Express at Fundación Bilbao Arte Fundazioa in Bilbao; the exhibition later travels to Gijón and Corunna, Spain, and Budapest.
2001
Participates in Arte y electricidad, a project by Fundación RDZ, at Arteleku in San Sebastián, Spain.
2002
Receives a grant from the Fundación Marcelino Botín in Santander, Spain.
Arregui's first solo exhibition, Sticky Bacon, is presented at Galería Espacio Mínimo in Madrid and later travels to Galería Dasto in Oviedo, Spain.
2003
Presents the exhibition On My Own at Fundación Bilbao Arte Fundazioa in Bilbao.
Arregui's work is included in the exhibitions Bad Boys at the 50th Biennale di Venezia and Monocanal at the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía in Madrid; the latter travels to Corunna, Murcia, Valladolid, San Sebastián, Gijón, and Barcelona.
2004
Takes part in the exhibitions Arquitectura efímera at the Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Castilla y León in León, Spain (also creating a video for the accompanying DVD, with new music by the group Fangoria), and Itinerarios at the Fundación Marcelino Botín in Santander, Spain.
2005
Presents the exhibition Sed de infinito at Galería Espacio Mínimo in Madrid.
Arregui's work is included in the exhibition Sesiones animadas at the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía in Madrid; the exhibition later travels to the Centro Atlántico de Arte Moderno in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
2006
Awarded the Altadis Prize for the Plastic Arts.
Receives an honorable mention in the Generación 2006 competition, organized by Obra Social Caja Madrid.
Takes part in the exhibitions Dibujando el revés at the Centro Cultural Montehermoso and Catarsis at Artium, Centro Museo Vasco de Arte Contemporáneo, both in Vitoria, Spain.
2007
Presents the exhibitions Sed de infinito at the Centro Cultural Montehermoso in Vitoria, Spain, and Un impulso lírico del alma at Espacio AV in Murcia, Spain.
Arregui's work is shown in the exhibitions Chacun à son goût at the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao, Cuestión xeracional at the Centro Galego de Arte Contemporánea in Santiago de Compostela, Spain, Existencias at the Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Castilla y León in León, Spain, Todo cuanto amé formaba parte de ti at the Instituto Cervantes in Damascus and Dublin, and Beauty and Sadness at Galeria do Torreão Nascente da Cordoaria Nacional in Lisbon; the latter exhibition later travels to Industrie- und Handelskammer in Frankfurt.
Participates in the Bienal Internacional del Deporte en el Arte at the Centro de Cultura Antiguo Instituto Jovellanos in Gijón, Spain, and the Festival delle Letterature Internazionale di Roma in Rome.
