1963: Born on October 11.
1987: Has first solo exhibition at the Centro Cultural Okendo in San Sebastián.
1988: Specializing in painting, earns a fine arts degree from the Universidad del País Vasco.
1990–92: Receives grants for artistic creation from the provincial government of Guipúzcoa.
1991: Receives the national diploma from the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris. Exhibits at Galerie Crime and Galerie de la Grande Masse des Beaux Arts in Paris.
1992: Wins second prize in the Certamen de Artistas Noveles de Guipúzcoa in San Sebastián.
1993: Enrolls at Université Paris 8, earning a degree in philosophy in 1997. Receives a grant from Fundación Cultural Banesto.
1995: Galería & Ediciones Ginkgo in Madrid presents the solo exhibition Arañitas cartesianas.
1997: Exhibits at Galería & Ediciones Ginkgo in Madrid and Galería Adriana Indik in Buenos Aires. Wins the 24th Premio de Pintura, Escultura y Arte Digital Bancaixa for painting.
1998: The Museo de Arte Contemporáneo in Bahía Blanca, Argentina, mounts an exhibition of Pérez Agirregoikoa's work.
1999: Exhibits at Casa Torre de Ariz in Basauri, Spain. Receives an artist-in-residence grant in Careyes, Mexico.
2000: The Asociación Cultural Cruce in Madrid presents the solo exhibition Tenue pasión de lo real.
2001: The Dojo de Montreuil in Montreuil, France, presents the solo exhibition Faible passion du réel.
2003: La Fênetre in Ivry-sur-Seine, France, organizes an exhibition of Pérez Agirregoikoa's work.

2004: Awarded a grant for artistic creation from the Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Castilla y León in León, Spain. La Casa Encendida in Madrid presents the solo exhibition Tonto el que lo lea. Pérez Agirregoikoa's work is also shown in solo exhibitions at the Sala Rekalde in Bilbao and Galería Salvador Díaz in Madrid.
2005: Exhibits at Galería Braga Menéndez in Buenos Aires. Pérez Agirregoikoa's work is included in Populism at the Nordic Institute for Contemporary Art in Helsinki; the exhibition later travels to Vilnius, Lithuania, Amsterdam, and Frankfurt.
2006: Along with Abigail Lazkoz and Txuspo Poyo, wins first prize in the Gure Artea competition, sponsored by the Basque government. Presents the exhibition God bless you violence at Büro DC in Cologne and the exhibition Felicidades at Galería Salvador Díaz in Madrid.
2007: Presents the exhibition Talent at the NorrlandsOperan in Umeå, Sweden. Pérez Agirregoikoa's work is included in the exhibitions Existencias at the Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Castilla y León in León, Spain, and Chacun à son goût at the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao.
2008: Lonely at the Top: Klankeffecten #5: Juan Pérez Agirregoikoa is presented at the Museum van Hedendaagse Kunst in Antwerp, Belgium. Has two exhibitions at Galería Carreras Múgica in Bilbao: This aggression will not stand... This will not stand! and En directo el Ochote Ozenki: Concierto para puño alzado; the latter travels to Galerie Marietta Clages in Cologne. Pérez Agirregoikoa's work is featured in the exhibition World Record: Art and Sport, organized by the Institut Valencià d'Art Modern, at the Iberia Center for Contemporary Art in Beijing.
2009: His work is featured in the exhibition The Matrix: An Unstable Reality at the 28. Ljubljanski mednarodni graficni biennale in Ljubljana , Slovenia.
2010: The gallery Carreras Múgica, Bilbao, inaugurates the exhibition Juan Pérez Agirregoikoa [personal (civil) war] ; and Easy Ryder is presented at Biziak, the space for contemporary art, music and thought. He gives a talk on Japanese artist Mitsuo Miura at RMS, El Espacio, Madrid. His work is included in group exhibitions organized by Centro de Arte Dos de Mayo, Móstoles, Madrid; Carreras Múgica, Bilbao; Centro Cultural Montehermoso, Vitoria-Gasteiz; MARCO, Museo de Arte Contemporánea, Vigo; and B.P.S. 22, Charleroi, Belgium.
